The statistics on my blog (fancy schmancy, I know) has shown that my MAC Lipstick posts are some of my most popular. So in the light of giving the people what they want, I have a couple more to feature here! These 5 neutral lipsticks from MAC are some current favourites that have been receiving a lot of wear time. Photoshop camera raw update mac. I have gotten into wearing eyeshadow more frequently and I find the balance between a full eyeshadow look + a neutral lip a lot more appropriate for everyday. Unfortunately, this means that I have been neglecting my bold lipsticks, but I'm sure they will be loved again when the weather warms up in the spring!
– MAC Blankety (Amplified Creme) described by MAC as 'soft pink beige'
– MAC Cherish (Satin) described by MAC as 'soft muted peachy-beige'
– MAC Kinda Sexy (Matte) described by MAC as 'neutral pinky-rose'
– MAC Velvet Teddy (Matte) described by MAC as 'deep-tone beige'
– MAC Yash (Matte) described by MAC as 'deep neutral'
(Sidenote: MAC Honeylove (Matte) is an old favourite that was featured in my original MAC Lipstick Favourites post here) Windows vm on mac.
Mac studio fix foundation coverage. I'm a MAC NC42, and my lips are fairly pigmented, and on me, both the Pillow Talk lipstick and liner are pinkish brown with a little bit of beige. It skews a little warm, but not so warm that it appears yellow-based. I definitely get a nude vibe, and I like the color, which is like a blend of MAC Velvet Teddy and MAC Half ‘N' Half. Yash is comparable to Honey-love as it's a light-ish brown but it has a warmer undertone and is slightly deeper so it doesn't wash me out as much. I find I can just about get away with not wearing a lip liner so it's a great one to just pop on and go. Velvet Teddy – Matte. Velvet Teddy, a colour most of us have come to fall in love with. This creamy matte lipstick features high colour payoff in a no-shine matte finish. The perfect matte formulation of the iconic product that made MAC famous.

I like having a couple of different nude lipsticks in my arsenal for different looks. Not all nude lipsticks are created equal so I like to experiment with different colours, tones and finishes. The ones I feature here are all able to give me a neutral-nude lip look but in various different ways. My favourite nude lipsticks are of the matte and highly opaque variety (MAC, please release some nudes in the Retro Matte formula!!) but I do enjoy sheerer formulas for when I want a less fussy look. As you can see from my picks, I am not the biggest fan of concealer-type nudes (think MAC Myth) but I have found that colours like those can still be wearable with a bit of lip liner. Lip liner to the rescue, once again!

Finding your go-to perfect nude lipstick can be difficult, especially if you're looking at MAC lipsticks. They have so many options that it's sometimes hard and overwhelming to decide between two shades. So, if you're looking for your perfect nude, which one should you buy? MAC Honeylove vs Yash.
Honeylove| This is a light nude beige that has a slight peach undertone to it on my skin. It has a matte finish, but it's not overly drying like the infamous Ruby Woo. I would say this is the right amount of matte while still being comfortable on the lips. I think this shade would be good for anyone from a fair to medium tan skin tone (I'm a MAC NC40 for reference). If you have a deeper complexion, this could possibly be too light for you unless you like a really nude lipstick look.
Yash| Yash is another beautiful nude shade, but it is deeper and has a more brown tone to it compared to Honeylove. This also has a matte finish, but it is not overly drying on the lips. If you're looking for a deeper nude then this would be the better option out of the two. I also think this would be better on deeper complexions as well if you do not like very light nudes.
The Verdict| Both are beautiful nude shades in their own right, but if you're looking for something more peach toned and light then Honeylove is your guy. However, if you want a nude that is slightly deeper and has more brown to it, then I would go with Yash. Both have similar formulas and a matte finish so they aren't different when it comes to that.
